To Tallon

A little graphic-novel adaptation of a story I wrote. The character with long, dark hair and wings is a young god of Death. The other character, cowering in the corner, is Tallon, another young god from an alternate universe.

Death often has bursts of anger that result in violence. He only feels at peace when he's around Tallon. The problem is, when Tallon leaves (this happens frequently) Death's anger redoubles. Just before this scene, Death nearly kidnapped Tallon in his desperation and rage. He caught himself just in time.

"I can't control myself when you're gone, Tallon. I can't think. I can't breathe.

I get angry. I do bad things. I can't stop myself and it hurts.

I was going to massacre people if you didn't show up. People we know.

I don't know why I need you so badly, but I do. It's torture living without you.

You keep me sane. You save me from myself.

...Oe'atahx!*"

*This is a lament in his language, roughly translated as "Oh, God!"
